Renewable Fuel Technologies
The Energy & Environmental Research Center (EERC) was the first entity in the world to create a 100% renewable, drop-in compatible JP-8 fuel and has made significant strides in
developing a suite of renewable liquid fuels for heat, power, and transportation. We are building collaborations with industry to overcome technical, economic,
and social barriers to commercial utilization of alternative and renewable fuels. The EERC Foundation portfolio has a very comprehensive, industry-leading suite
of technologies and methodologies for producing renewable fuels that mimic existing fuels as well as tailored fuels for advanced systems.
